Course objective
Travelport is the world’s leading platform for selling travel services. The core of the Travelport platform is represented by GDS Travelport Galileo through the Travelport Smartpoint application, which keeps pace with modern technologies and leads innovations in the tourism business. Sinergija University offers its students the opportunity to obtain a certificate for work on the global distribution system Travelport Galileo. After completing the course, the student is trained to review availability, sell capacity and additional services on traditional and low-budget airlines.
Who is the course intended for?
The course is primarily intended for students of the Tourism and Hotel Management study program at Sinergija University. The training involves attending a basic course called: “Travelport GDS – Galileo Core: Booking File1 – Basic reservations course”.
Course agenda
The course is held every month, and the maximum number of participants is eight. Course dates can be checked at travelport.rs/kursevi.
Classes last 5 working days from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. On the last day, a test is taken and if successfully passed, a certificate is obtained that opens all doors in the tourism industry.
Booking File 1 – Basic reservation course provides an opportunity to gain knowledge in making airline reservations and reservations of other tourist services in a simple way.
Travelport Galileo conducts the course at the school center located at Knez Mihailova Street 30/IV, Belgrade. The classes are conducted by professional instructors authorized to issue a corresponding certificate to each participant. The lecture is conducted in Serbian, each participant has his own computer and manual so that he can follow the lesson and work on the Travelport Galileo system without interruption.
Admission requirements and certification
A prerequisite for attending the course is knowledge of the English language and basic computer skills. After completing the course and successfully passing the test, students will receive a certificate, recognized throughout the world.
It is necessary for the student to fill out the application form and send it to the e-mail address indicated in the application. It is necessary to register for the course at least seven days in advance.
Students of the University of Sinergija have a preferential price of 7000 dinars (approx. 60 EUR) for attending the course.
Application of the course in the economy
Ability of participants to work on the Travelport Galileo system for the sale of tourist services: airline seat, hotel accommodation, car rental and other relevant content. Amadeus GDS licenses for students
Sinergija University, in partnership with Singidunum University and Amadeus Commercial Organization, signed a Cooperation Agreement on December 4, 2008, at 14:00, according to which students of the Tourism and Hospitality program at Sinergija University will be trained and certified under special conditions to work on the “Amadeus” system, the leading system in information technology in the travel industry.
After completing the training and successfully passing the test, students will receive the Amadeus Functionality certificate, which is recognized worldwide.
With this, Sinergija University has provided its Tourism and Hospitality program students with the opportunity to obtain a license to work on the global distribution system “Amadeus,” bringing modern technologies and trends in world tourism closer to students and increasing their chances for easier employment both locally and globally.

Students of the Tourism and Hospitality program have the opportunity to participate in training under special conditions and obtain certification to work on the MICROS FIDELIO system, the leading system in information technology for all types of hotel operations. After completing the training and successfully passing the test, students will receive the Sinergija – Singidunum – Micros Fidelio certificate. Depending on the program, the certificates are:
- “Fidelio Suite 8 – CRM & Property Management System (Basic) User Level”
- “Micros 3700 – RES Point Of Sale (Basic) User Level”
- “Materials Control (Basic) User Level”
Training and Certification Conditions:
Each program lasts for 5 working days from 9:00 to 17:00. The price for each individual program is 250 euros, including VAT. The price also includes all course elements (training, materials, exam, and certification).
The training is conducted by certified instructors. The training is delivered in Serbian. Each participant has their own computer on which they can work in the system within the training environment. Each participant receives a manual in Serbian and a collection of exercises for knowledge testing. After successfully passing the relevant test at the HSS Training Center (minimum 80% correct answers), participants receive official MICROS FIDELIO certificates.
