Our primary role is to support the aim of the internationalization of the Sinergija campus. About Bijeljina
Bijeljina is located in the north-eastern part of the Republic of Srpska, in the heart of the Semberija plain.
The town is near the Beograd-Zagreb highway and is near the biggest cities in Serbia – Belgrade and Novi Sad (cca 120-130 km). There are two border crossings in Bijeljina area – Pavlovića Bridge on Drina River and Rača on Sava River.
Archaeological findings show that the Semberija region was inhabited even in the prehistoric era. Bijeljina is recognisable by its big central square, whose beauty is complemented by the green town oasis – the Town Park.

Health care and insurance
Health care and insurance are important segments during your stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is crucial that you become conversant with the difference between the medical care system in your own country and the medical care system in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Arranging and paying for medical care is your responsibility. The best way to meet this responsibility is to obtain comprehensive health insurance coverage to avoid excessive costs.

Recognition of foreign degrees and qualifications
Students who have completed their undergraduate or master studies at some foreign university are required to submit their diplomas and relevant documentation obtained at the other University to the authorized body in Bosnia and Herzegovina for recognition in order to be able to continue their studies at Sinergija University.

VISA requirements
Applicants/students should get a short-term (entrance) visa prior to their arrival. Therefore, they are expected to extend their short-term visa when they arrive in Bosnia and Herzegovina and obtain a residential/study visa after the enrolment.
The International Office provides information and advice on applying for a visa and types of visas, regulation of temporary stay, and immigration responsibilities.

Once your application has been successfully approved you will receive an invitation letter from Sinergija University which will be used for immigration purposes.
