Foreign languages

Students of Sinergija University study English for all four years of study and take four exams:

• English I,
• English II,
• English language III and
• English language IV.

The material of English I and II refers to the general English language and covers knowledge level B1 according to the Common European Framework for Living Languages (more information about the Framework can be found here), which enables students to take the internationally recognized exam PET examenglish.com/PET.

The material of English III and IV refers to business English and covers knowledge level B1-B2 of the Common European Framework for Living Languages. Considering the level and nature of the course, after passing the exam students are ready, if they wish, to take the BEC Preliminary international exam cambridgeenglish.org/exams-and-tests/business-preliminary.

Students of Sinergia University study the Italian language for two or four years of study and take two or four exams:

• Italian language I,
• Italian language II,
• Italian language III and
• Italian language IV.

The acquired knowledge enables students to take the international PLIDA exam at the A2 level of the Common European Framework for Living Languages after passing the Italian Language I and Italian Language II exams (you can find more information about the Framework here), while the knowledge gained in the Italian Language III and Italian Language exams language IV enables them to take the international PLIDA exam at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
